Description

Steel and aluminium fabricated standard box with translucent white perspex faces either side, internally illuminated with fluorescent tubes.

Construction

Square tubular steel subframe welded up with Cromadek side panels glued or pop riveted in place. Perspex facesare held in place either side by aluminium angle cover strips.

Vertical steel structural supports also serve to carry the fluorescent tubes, starters and ballast transformers. The sign may be hung from an overhang on bolted thread-bar supports, or mounted off a vertical wall with brackets as a projector.

Decoration

Decoration on faces of translucent Perspex (for smaller sizes) or flex face systems (see chapter 2), may include combinations of flat, printed or 3D lettering and graphics as illustrated in this manual.

Spraypainting, powder coating or pre-coated finishes are applicable, with special attention to weather-proofing for
exterior applications.
