Creating polished edges on cut-out letters for a chic finish
With new technologies, cut-out letters can be polished, brushed or textured to give signage a professional and durable stand-out effect.
Product application
Cut-out letters and signs in a wide range of substrates can be used in a variety of indoor and outdoor applications, to give a business a professional and superior image.
Cut-out letters are used in signage for business establishments, parking lots and in residential contexts, where they are used as address signs, for example. In interior spaces cut-out letters can be used to demarcate restrooms, showrooms and reception areas. And when polished, these signs can give a business an additional level of chic.
Product description
State-of-the-art equipment such as Computer Numerically Controlled (CNC) engraving machines, router tables and water jet cutters are used to shape and form the signage in range of materials that include aluminium, bronze, brass, copper, plastic stainless steel, perspex, vinyl, acrylic, foam, fibreglass, polyester, ceramics and wood.
The cut-out letters can be hand-finished to customer specifications, by being flame-polished, anodised or powder-coated to attract higher attention.
The letters are installed using specialised pins, studs, CO2 welding, brazing (brass), gluing, drilling, tapping and silicon to append the letters directly to the fascia of a building or a wall.
Product specifications
Sharp, polished edges and colours in numerous sizes and textures are available to give cut-out letters a unique look. The materials used are durable and guaranteed not to fade.
Whether the letters are flat-cut or three-dimensional they can add an element of character and sophistication to a facility when letters appear raised from the substrata of a building and have polished edges. When letters and logos are precision-cut with accuracy, and then polished, they produce the high quality results that sign users have come to expect.
Notes for the client
With advances in computer technology, cut-letters and logos can be designed to a client’s specifications. The uniform appearance of individual cut-outs makes them adaptable to multiple applications, even accommodating the needs of the visually impaired. With polished edges on cut out-letters, a signage system is guaranteed to succeed.
