Description
Letters are given a third dimension by the construction of sides off the letter-face, creating the space to install neon and other lighting techniques if desired.
Construction
Letters (and logos etc) fabricated in Perspex are made by cutting the face (and other internal components to carry neon lighting) using computer driven routing machines. Sides are also cut out and formed to the shape of the letter using heat to soften the Perspex, and glued together using high performance adhesives.
Illumination
Perspex letters allow illumination through the letter-face, with the option of creating a halo effect from the back of the letter onto the background. Led's can also be used rather than Neon. If you looking to light up just the face LED can be a better option.
Neon tubing is bent to size and shape according to technical drawings. Neon condoms must be used to protect the electrical connections and must also be utilised (with the ends cut off) to protect the tubing where it passes through holes in the Perspex dividers or background panels.
Decoration
Cut vinyl or colour digital prints may be applied for colour effects. The sides may be sprayed for specific colours.
